According to a report by Reuters, Donald Trump has not been extended an invitation to attend an international climate change summit held in France "for the time being."
Trump was the subject of controversy when he announced his intention to pull the United States from the 2015 Climate Accord.
Macron's administration has already invited "over a hundred countries, as well as non government organizations."

If the United States wishes to attend, Trump best stay home.
"The United States would still be invited to the summit but at a lower level than the president" Reuters quoted an official as saying.
Today, Syria shocked the world when it announced it intends to join the climate accord. Nicaragua joined the deal last month.
That means the United States would be the only country in the world to reject the climate deal. (The Verge). It is also "the second largest emitter of heat-trapping greenhouse gases in the world after China."
